The Marshal’s Medal is an initiative launched by Hayden Paddon to give back to the dedicated volunteers who are the backbone of New Zealand’s rally scene. It’s often said that rallying wouldn’t be possible without the incredible efforts of organizers and marshals who brave all conditions to ensure the safety of competitors and fans alike.

We’re on the lookout for 20 outstanding volunteers from the rally community to experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: riding shotgun with Hayden Paddon at an exclusive ride day. Whether you’re involved in block marshalling, timing, service park management, or any other crucial volunteer role at a rally or rallysprint event, your contribution could earn you this thrilling experience.

Each successful recipient will receive:

  • A passenger ride with Hayden in a Hyundai rally car (10 North Island, 10 South Island)
  • A full PRG Merchandise Pack

    Glenn and Ismay are shining examples of the incredible volunteers who bring rallying to life. As active members of the Eastern Southland Car Club, this dynamic couple, along with their two sons, Ryan and Conrad, live and breathe the world of motorsport.

    Their weekends are spent organizing and supporting a wide range of events, from grassroots autocrosses to full-scale rallies. Glenn and Ismay’s dedication doesn’t stop there—they’re always willing to go the extra mile, whether it’s filling crucial roles during our test days or taking on significant responsibilities at major events like our recent Next-Gen motorsport day.

    Long-time friends of our team, Glenn and Ismay embody the spirit of rallying through their unwavering commitment, passion, and love for the sport. Their contributions, both big and small, are what make the rally community so special.

    How to Enter

    Are you a volunteer with a passion for rallying? If you’d like a chance to ride with Hayden Paddon, simply fill out the form and share your rally journey with us. Hayden will personally review all submissions and select 20 lucky winners—10 from the South Island and 10 from the North Island of New Zealand—to join him for an unforgettable ride.

    If selected, your ride will be scheduled according to the following dates:

    • Auckland Area – November 2024
    • Central Otago Area – December 2024
